The Jean Monnet Research Project “The reconfiguration of the EU presence in Latin America” – in short: @EUinLAC – brings together an interdisciplinary team of young and established scholars, balanced in terms of gender and age. Short bio – Julia Herrmann:
Julia Herrmann is Research and Teaching Associate at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) in Germany and Doctoral Candidate in International Relations. She joined the Chair of International Business and Society Relations (Prof. Gardini) in 2019 and is member of the academic staff of the Jean Monnet Research Project EUinLAC. Her main research interests cover foreign policy analysis, particularly forms of “Feminist” Foreign Policy as well as the relations between the EU and Latin America.

Breve bio – Julia Herrmann:
Julia Herrmann es investigadora y profesora asistente en la Universidad de Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) en Alemania y candidata doctoral en relaciones internacionales. La Sra. Herrmann forma parte de la Cátedra de International Business and Society Relations con foco en América Latina (Prof. Gardini) desde 2019, del mismo modo es miembro del equipo académico del Proyecto Jean Monnet EUinLAC. Su investigación se centra en la política exterior con especial foco en la política exterior “feminista”, así como en las relaciones entre la UE y América Latina.
